Indian Hindu monk, yogi, and guru who introduced millions of Westerners to meditation and yoga through his Autobiography of a Yogi. He founded the Self-Realization Fellowship and spent over thirty years in the United States teaching Kriya Yoga. His autobiography has been in continuous print since 1946 and was one of Steve Jobs's favorite books.
